Biography

Melissa grew up and pursued her early education in Tampa, graduating from Lee Academy in Carrollwood in 2000 and earning her bachelor's degree in History and Literature from Eckerd College in 2004. She then attended Boston University School of Law, where she competed in the Stone Moot Court and Sutherland Moot Court competitions and earned her juris doctor in 2008. After completing law school, Melissa practiced in Boston for 2 years, working for the non-profit AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts where she provided a range of legal services to an at-risk, underserved population. She returned to Tampa in 2010, and has been practicing real estate law since. Melissa has experience in a wide range of real estate matters, including landlord/tenant, HOA litigation, title disputes, and commercial and residential transactions. She joined Frank Charles Miranda PA in 2020, after running her own successful practice for 8 years. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Massachusetts, and the Middle District of Florida.
